For growing UK product businesses

Could your operation run a week without you?

If every order, stock question and approval still lands on your desk, that's dependency, not control. The Control Pilot fixes your costliest workflow in an owned, 30-day pilot.

The real problem

More orders should not create more operational chaos.

When information lives across spreadsheets, marketplaces, inboxes and employee memory, growth produces more checking, chasing, errors and firefighting.

Before

Operations held together by effort

  • Teams copy the same information between systems.
  • Problems are discovered after customers complain.
  • Stock, order and fulfilment data cannot be trusted.
  • Key workflows depend on one person knowing what to do.
  • Every increase in volume creates more administration.
After

Operations managed through control

  • One view of what is happening, delayed or blocked.
  • Clear ownership, status and next actions.
  • Alerts and approvals focus attention on exceptions.
  • Repeatable workflows that do not rely on memory.
  • A stronger operational foundation for growth.
The spreadsheet tax

Estimate what manual operations may already be costing you.

Use a simple estimate based on avoidable admin time. This does not include stock errors, delayed orders, refunds, customer complaints or lost management time.

Estimated annual manual-work cost£27,648
Illustrative estimate only. The audit validates the real operational impact.
The Leak-to-Control method

Do not replace everything. Prove one important workflow first.

OpsMavix reduces the time, effort and risk of change by starting with one contained operational result.

Find the highest-cost leak

We review the flow of orders, stock, fulfilment, purchasing or customer issues and identify the workflow creating the greatest measurable impact.

Build and test the control workflow

We map the current process, agree success criteria, connect the required data and create a working workflow using realistic business scenarios.

Go live, measure and decide

Your team uses the workflow with training and post-launch support. You expand only after the first result has been demonstrated.

Proof-of-Control Guarantee

The agreed workflow must be demonstrated, not merely promised.

Before work begins, OpsMavix and your team agree the pilot scope and clear acceptance criteria. If OpsMavix cannot demonstrate the agreed workflow within that confirmed scope, you may request the pilot fee back.

The guarantee applies where agreed information, access and decisions are provided on time, third-party platforms remain available, requirements do not materially change and the issue sits within OpsMavix’s confirmed responsibility. Final commercial terms are documented in the pilot agreement.

Fit before pitch

This is designed for a specific type of operational problem.

Manufacturing E-commerce Wholesale Distribution Physical inventory Shop floor & production

A strong fit when you...

  • Run a UK business selling physical products.
  • Manage multiple sales channels, systems or locations.
  • Have several people involved in orders, stock or fulfilment.
  • Lose time to spreadsheets, checking, chasing or re-entry.
  • Can identify a workflow affecting cost, customers or growth.
  • Want to act within approximately 90 days.

Probably not a fit when you...

  • Need a simple off-the-shelf application at the lowest price.
  • Do not manage physical products or operational workflows.
  • Cannot provide process-owner access or realistic sample data.
  • Want unlimited development inside a fixed pilot.
  • Need an immediate full global ERP replacement.
Common questions

What cautious operations leaders usually ask.

How is this different from off-the-shelf software or a project board?

Off-the-shelf tools and project boards give you a place to put information, you still do the work of moving it, checking it and chasing it. The Control Pilot builds one workflow around how your business actually runs, so the system does that work: clear ownership, live status and alerts on the exceptions. And you own what we build outright, rather than renting a generic tool per user, every month.

Do we own what you build, or rent it?

You own it outright, the workflow, the data and the hosting run on your own standard cloud account. There is no per-seat licence and no compulsory monthly fee, so adding people later does not increase the cost. Optional support is available if you want it, but it is never a condition of using what you paid for.

Will we have to replace all our current systems?

No. The pilot focuses on one priority workflow. It may connect selected existing systems, improve the process between them or replace only the part creating the operational problem. The recommended approach is confirmed during the audit.

What happens if our process is unusual?

The pilot starts with your current process, requirements and realistic scenarios. OpsMavix does not assume that a generic workflow is suitable. The aim is to retain what works and control what is creating cost, delay or risk.

Are there additional costs?

The £4,950 + VAT pilot has a written scope. Any third-party licences, connector charges or requirements outside that scope are disclosed before work starts. New requirements are optional changes rather than hidden additions.

What if an external platform limits the integration?

Integration feasibility and known limitations are reviewed before the pilot is confirmed. The guarantee cannot cover a third-party platform that withdraws or blocks required access, but OpsMavix will explain the dependency and available alternatives.

What happens after the pilot?

You may continue using the delivered workflow, expand through a wider phased rollout or stop. Wider implementations currently start from £12,500 + VAT, and the pilot fee may be credited when the expansion proceeds under the agreed commercial terms.

What does support cost after the pilot?

Questions and simple things are always free, no clock, no compulsory contract. Hands-off software care (Control Care) is optional at £300/month, 24/7, rolling, full breakdown in the “After the 30 days” section above.

How quickly can we begin?

Start dates depend on qualification, access requirements and current delivery capacity. The audit identifies whether the workflow is suitable and what must be ready before a pilot date is confirmed.
